JOSH BUSH
President
Josh Bush is the Founder and President of The Josh Bush Foundation. He is a former student-athlete at Wake Forest University, where he earned First-team All-ACC and Third-team All American honors. He graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. He was drafted in the 2012 NFL draft by the New York Jets. His football career took him to Denver, where he won Super Bowl 50 for the Broncos. He began The Josh Bush Foundation in 2012 with the vision and drive to give back to the community that helped raise him. With strong values based in integrity and generosity, The Josh Bush Foundation has grown to support thousands of children in the Lexington, NC community. Josh is inspired to support the children in his hometown to help them realize their success and reach their goals.
KRISTEN BUSH
Vice-President
Kristen is a former student-athlete at Wake Forest University. She graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science. She continued her education at the Wake Forest School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program where she graduated in 2014 with a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. As the Vice President of The Josh Bush Foundation, Kristen oversees fundraising events, organizes community outreach programs, and supervises public relations. Giving back to local communities, especially one that is so important to shaping her husband into the man he is today, is something that Kristen is very passionate about.
CJ WASHINGTON
Secretary
CJ is a former football player at Wake Forest University. He graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. CJ joined The Josh Bush Foundation with the vision and drive to improve upon our Non-Profit Organization. As Secretary of the foundation, CJ brings his years of experience and skills to the forefront in helping our organization grow and succeed. His skills as a creative director help maintain the foundation's development toward giving the children in the community more success for their future.
KATHY KOONTS
Treasurer
Kathy is a Lexington, NC native. She graduated in 1986 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Mathematics. Kathy has taught for 31 years in the Davidson County School District. As Treasurer of the foundation, Kathy's organization skills and attention to detail help the foundation continue to grow and operate smoothly. Her experience in the world of education enables her to share creative ideas which have a direct impact on the community served buy The Josh Bush Foundation.
